Advancing Foreign Credential Recognition is a promotional video to showcase the International Qualifications Network, or IQN. It is the product of collective efforts to strengthen immigrant labour market participation and integration, including faster and more efficient foreign credential recognition and assessment. CIC, in collaboration with their foreign credential recognition partners, developed an online Community of Practice called the International Qualifications Network (IQN) in 2011. The video demonstrates how the IQN has successfully addressed the need for a centralized tool to promote and support the sharing of information related to the recognition and assessment of international qualifications in Canada, and to connect stakeholders and raise awareness of common issues.
