Register as an ISANS Volunteer

Please note: the link to Volunteer Registration takes you away from the ISANS website to an external site called MyImpactPage.com.

  1. Complete an online application.
Please note that only completed applications will be processed so please make sure to fill out all required fields in the application before logging out.
  2. Sign up for a General Orientation Session.
All sessions take place at our offices located at 6960 Mumford Road, Suite 2120 (main entrance, second floor).
If the group orientation time does not work for you, you can schedule an individual orientation or attend an online orientation, after you have applied.

At the General Orientation, you will learn about available volunteer roles, and the next steps to get started volunteering.

ISANS offices are wheelchair accessible, have barrier free washrooms, and a scent-free policy. If you have any questions about accessibility, please contact us at volunteer@old.isans.ca.

Please note: some of the ISANS volunteer roles require an intermediate to advanced English language level. This is because the roles support:

  • newcomers with beginner English levels who wish to be matched with someone who can help them practice their English
  • newcomers with a wealth of experience who seek insight into the Canadian workplace and community culture

We do have some opportunities for beginner English language speakers as well!

Volunteers must be 18 years of age and older to volunteer. For those under 18, and enrolled in a high school co-op program, there may opportunities work placements at ISANS.
