Thursday, November 18, from 5:30 – 7:30 pm at the World Trade and Convention Centre, Immigrant Services Association of Nova Scotia hosted an International Networking Reception and Showcase. Attendees had the opportunity to connect and engage with the business community and create new relationships. The guest speaker was Hanspeter Stutz of Domaine de Grand Pré Winery, and winner of the Nova Scotia Tourism 1st Vision Award. Speakers also included Minister of Immigration Ramona Jennex, and Peter Hogan, Director General of Regional Operations at ACOA. The evening was hosted by Colin MacLean, President and CEO of the Waterfront Development Corporation Limited and ISANS Board Member.
This event marked the launch of the Immigrant Services Association of Nova Scotia Business Directory – a compilation of immigrant businesses in the Halifax Regional Municipality.
