The 2015 Build Your Business on the Silva was sold-out for its 3rd year – the weather was perfect for a networking event on the open water. Under blue skies the Silva cruised the Halifax harbour under full sail, providing a wonderful experience and view of Halifax. The purpose of the event is to build connections between immigrant business owners and the broader business community. Connections are made between businesses and participants are also introduced to the programs and services available at ISANS, the Halifax Partnership and the event sponsor Credit Union Atlantic. Some attendees said that it was one of the best networking events they’ve attended. Comments included: ‘How do I get on the mailing list for next year?; ‘This was fantastic – I made so many connections to help me build my business’; ‘My supply chain increased 10 fold tonight’; ‘I don’t want to leave’; ‘Can you do this more than once a year?”
