A project by a group of women from the Young Immigrant Women’s Leadership Program received a grant from the Halifax Community Health Board’s Community Development Fund this weekend. Their project will deliver a series of workshops related to mental health, and provide general health and wellness information for immigrant girls and young women in Halifax peninsula and Fairview.
