It is with great sadness that we share the news that Colin MacLean, former ISANS board member, Vice Chair and great supporter of ISANS, has passed away after a lengthy illness. Colin was a board member of MISA when MISA and HILC merged in 2009 and was one of the biggest supporters of the joining of the two organisations. Colin left the board for a few years but rejoined in 2014 to become Vice Chair with the plan that he would become Chair the following year. Regretfully his illness did not allow him to fulfill that plan but Colin continued to be the epitome of enthusiasm and life force that he always was, sending emails of support. ISANS was so lucky to have been the beneficiary of Colin’s wisdom, vision and leadership. He was a huge ISANS flag waver for the work that we do and we will miss him greatly. Our thoughts are with his family at this very sad time.
